What are remanufactured toners and why choose them?

Original toner cartridges are used until the toner runs out and are then discarded. However, used cartridges can actually be fully remanufactured by replacing the consumed toner and worn parts. The lower cost of remanufacturing rather than manufacturing an original cartridge is passed along to the consumer, and reusing the cartridge reduces environmental waste.
